As a volunteer with us, you will have the opportunity to surround yourself with art, technology and community.

Here are just a few examples of the exciting things you could take on as one of our Volunteers:

  • Library Assistant: Dive into the world of books and knowledge as you assist with organising materials, helping visitors, and curating engaging and merchandising displays.
  • Tech Savvy Guru: Share your passion for technology by helping visitors navigate digital resources, providing tech support on using computers, tablets, and other digital resources.
  • Creative Workshops: Unleash your creativity by supporting art workshops, storytelling sessions, or maker space activities.
  • Events: Bring your event planning skills to the forefront as you help organise and coordinate exciting programs, exhibitions, and cultural events.
  • Archivist: Helping with cataloguing, preserving, and organising historical documents, photographs, and oral histories
  • Book Club Facilitator: supporting discussions, selecting reading materials, and coordinating book club meetings.
  • Homework Helper: Assisting students with homework assignments and academic projects.
  • Language Conversation Partner: Engaging in language exchange sessions with individuals looking to practise a new language.
  • Maker Space Mentor: Providing guidance and support to visitors interested in using the library's maker space equipment and tools.
